boostman Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 I've just found a split in my front bumper in the pic below. It's attached at the top and bottom but the 15cm in between has split. Has anyone ever repaired a bumper? ....without the use of a wood screw.... Oh ok wasn't sure if the bumper would drop down if the split spread!? I think I'll try that glue then as it's like a plastic weld, flexible where as filler would crack. I see what you mean it is a seam, the other side looks fine (touch wood). Iv ordered that glue, says it's can be sanded and painted and stays flexible so it's worth a shot! boostman Posted June 22, 2015 Author Share Posted June 22, 2015 Any luck with this mate? Yeh all fixed now, used some plastic weld glue for gluing bonnet hinges to carbon fibre bonnets!
