Guest Martin F
I don't think the MKIII has a resistor pack. Are you sure it's not the ignitor ? Do you have a part number ?
Thor
Dude you need to find the ohm's of the UK & MK3 then compare. There was an injector database on http://www.autospeed.com a while back. Try there. Good luck & let us know how you get on.
Thor
dude, if the mk3 engine is a 7MGTE then the injectors are 2.9 ohms. Hasn't got the uk MKiv's. Anyone know? If there are slight differences in the ohms then apparently this is OK.

dr_jekyll
sorry to dig out a necrothread but were these injectors plug and play or is a resistor pack needed with them as have had a 50/50 on answers some say you do some say you dont . thanks
kaahari
^ If your car is import (jdm) , injectors are plug and play BUT you will need resistor pack if you fit UK injectors / other low impedance injectors with stock ecu. Quite easy to fit resistor pack, ~½-1h work There`s good guide: http://www.internetwork.org.uk/mechanical/Injectors/Injectors.htm Edited June 12, 2010 by kaahari (see edit history)
