j_jza80
Just booking a trip to Spain I'm doing in the Supra in 6 weeks time, and sadly my breakdown cover doesn't cover my Supra in Europe because of the age of it. Can anyone recommend some well priced European cover? Would want something reasonably comprehensive so that my car didn't end up stranded over there, should the worst happen. Had a quote already from RAC for £101.24 for 15 days cover, but just wanted to see if any of you Dragonballers had gotten any good quotes. Cheers. mattdavies
I have used Aviva as apparently they use RAC services. I ended up paying £30 up front then £10 a month for annual cover
Abz
AA did some great deals for us, who is your current provider? See if they can extend for a small fee. I go through my bank for my breakdown cover which is well priced. Though the price you got there seems very good already!
Burna
I get free European breakdown cover with my classic car insurance from Lynbrook
j_jza80
I get RAC UK comprehensive breakdown cover through through my Barclays additions account, but sadly the included 90 days European breakdown cover does not cover cars over 11 years old And they won't upgrade it. Mike2JZ
I used RAC with my last trip abroad, and had a competitive price compared to AA and going through my insurance. Can't comment on their recovery services as I didn't break down, but from a pricing perspective I'd say they are ok
j_jza80
Having had a quick look around, none of the others seem to be able to get close to the RAC quote.

j_jza80
Best I've found so far is RAC, make sure you tell them you're a member of a car club because it knocks a large amount off.
ripped_fear
AA are charging me £50 for 3 days and four Counties.
T2 MSW
AA are charging me £50 for 3 days and four Counties. What My year cover through my insurance is £57 and includes up to 90 days in Europe. And I've already used it once when car broke down at an alarm shop.

Benjy
Their recovery service is shocking though Did it not take supra900bhp forever to get back to the UK because of the RAC?
Burna
I think you'll find that most of the basic European cover's will be the same. If they cant fix it, then the car will be shipped back to the UK on the next available car transporter once they've filled it.
