There's a couple that are priced at over £3500 for supra then there's a few priced for just over £2000 For the Aristo gte.. can anybody shed any light on the diffence or are they same engine :-)
David P
If you have a T.T. Supra with a dead engine, an Aristo engine will be no problem because you'll have all the bits you need. If you are looking for an engine to use for N/A-T.T. conversion, an Aristo engine would be a PITA. There are many threads about this, try a search. j_jza80
What 'ee said. But £3500 is way overpriced for a Supra engine, it should be more like £2k. There is also nothing from stopping you from using a 2JZ-GE as a base engine, the bottom end is pretty much identical to the GTE.
David P
'ee also say's that the engine loom doesn't fit and Supra air-con won't work with an Aristo ECU.
mr bean
Cheers for replys :-) at min its a GE. Dont know what's better put a low mileage TT engine in or NA-T.
Ric
Sell up and buy a TT. Na-t never gives that much power Na-TT never hold as much value as a genuine TT
