supra_aero
Now I know why the forum for sale section has been so dead lately with little bargains or rare items in the past few months.
Kendo11
If I advertised a link to a for sale thread on the club Facebook, you would need to log in to the forum (as a paid member) to view it in the for sale section, providing a fail safe. I respect your point about a free market, but I'd just prefer to use the forum. As a buyer you can choose where to buy from. But what you can't do is tell the seller where to sell from. That's ultimately down to the seller. I don't think it necessarily harms this forum if people sell elsewhere, after all people have been doing just that on eBay etc for many moons before the Facebook group began, and will continue to do so after it goes. Some people on there simply can't be bothered with the whole forum thing.

Big Supes
I managed to source a decent do-luck front bumper on there for Sabrina's Supra and I have also been stitched on here. I guess its just the joys of the internet. No matter where you buy from just make sure you're avoiding paying for an item as a 'gift'. dangerous brain
Dad brought a heater control panel from the Facebook supra parts page, was advertised as "Good working order" had it fitted in the car. Turns out only 3 lights work on the whole thing! The one we had before was in better condition. It was only £25 so not a big deal, but its not the point. did you pop it open and change the bulbs? Chris Bailey
did you pop it open and change the bulbs? No But we shouldn't have too, if something was described as "Good working order" before taken off the car. You'd expect it too work and just swap it with the old unit. But maybe might have heckler change them to LED lights.
