Da Pinchy Code

Big Supes

Thought I'd post this thread as a bit of a warning to fellow members...

Last night I was woken up around 1am by my dog to a police officer lurking outside of my house. I popped my dressing gown on and went downstairs to investigate. "Police Officer, Sir. One of your neighbours has reports of a man crawling around your car...". Here we go again... (anyone who remembers my last thread of this nature). We looked around the car and couldn't see any damage so after giving my details, I went back in side. Then I heard my neighbour's voice so I went back out to find out what she had seen. Apparently she drove into our road and noticed a transit van parked on the side of pavement. As she continued to drive into our cul-de-sac there was a guy in a hoodie and a scarf near my front door. He tried to hide behind the wall so the police were called.

Da Pinchy Code

It turns out there was a chalk arrow drawn on the pavement pointing towards my house. There was also another pointing towards my neighbour's (who had called the police) home. It's unclear what their actual targets are, but my Supra was sat on the drive and she has had three failed attempts at dognapping her chiwawa. The last time someone attempted to steal her dog, she also had a chalk arrow pointing towards the house.

So, although this sounds like your usual tin foil internet BS, please be cautious and look out for these markings. If you see one, call the police and be extra vigilant.

I've posted pics of both of the arrows.

They're absolute f*****rs mate. You think they might be after your dog aswell? You've got to have massive balls to try and pinch a dog like yours, but I suppose stranger things have happened. Just seems odd that they'd have arrows pointed to yours and your neighbours and it be the Supe they were interested in. None the less, the bat has been readied by the front door after seeing this!

Exactly my thoughts mate. At first I was convinced they were after my dog. He's pretty intimidating when it comes to guarding the house so they would be f*cking idiots if they tried, but needless to say, that doesn't make me feel comfortable that it couldn't happen. After reading up some more about this kind of thing, I seen people talking about car thefts and burglaries. It could be all three in my case so I'm taking no chances.

Scum of the earth. Society should be cleansed of said filth.

Noticed house burgerly's appear to have been going up recently. Glad to hear you had good neighbours who reacted quickly!

If a burgler comes into my house I am gonna just start walking towards them shouting tick tock bitches :D

Sick Abz lol

They night double bluff you ;)

We had the garage broken into last summer... Took garden tools (petrol) and mountain bikes.... Didn't touch the car, although they would had had to move the cars in front of the garage but it did make me think....

Told the police that if they came back and I caught them that they wouldn't be found lol....

Can you not just shoot them with your muslamic ray gun?? :D

Totally agree with cleansing society of this scum. And if I caught anyone in my house, they'd be leaving in a bag. Depending how crazy I went on them would depend on if it was a bin bag or a body bag. Not sure the Police would agree with me having torn their heads clean off!

They will just drug you dog with a sleeping pill in some meat through a letter box or something. It's how some old friends of ours were burgled with two dogs inside their house

I only have an external letter box as I got sick of trying to piece letters back together. :D

I got myself cctv 50m night vision range think it was £300 with hardrive and 2 cameras easy to use and set up.

you have got to step it up abit by the sounds of it dude , clearly have been marked ( be it with chalk) for a hit of some sort ,

2 things I would do is get a proximity alarm on your car . get cctv

get the proximity alarm on the car first as if its on your drive it would simple go off if they was making there way to your house door also, which would /could stop the dog knapping

Go around everyone's house and put chalk arrows outside.

:rlol:

In all honesty, it doesn't really matter what you do. If they want something bad enough, they'll take it. I learnt this with my mk2 Escort.

It was parked in exactly that position except with the gates closed. It had a CAT1 alarm and immobiliser, a cut off key under the dash, crook lock, closed gates, gravel drive way, my daily across the gates, security light and I was sat 10ft away watching the TV with the lights on and the curtains open which I think is why I couldn't see out. They'd taken a pot shot at the security light, moved my daily causing no damage and making no noise and taken the car within 15-20 mins. I went out to put it in the garage and it was gone and I've never seen it since. This all happened between 8pm and 8.20 (However long ITV run a film for between breaks...)

I suppose all you can do is be vigilant, and have the dog on standby ready to eat them if they return. CCTV will be a deterrant, so definately worth investing in, even if it's just a dummy camera.

have to agree with Ben most inteligent car theaves would take it in broad daylight as the tv masks the noises make , the more blaitent you are the less people think your doing wrong

This. It's amazing what you can get away with if you have a van with a yellow light on top and whilst wearing a hi-vis jacket.

Thanks for the advice dude. I have considered a proximity alarm and I will have to make the time to install my gps tracker with built in alerts and engine cut function. With the proximity alarms, it is a function you can turn on and off? You always hear them going off at car shows and they get a little irritating. :D

I think the biggest saving grace is not keeping the car at mine. It was only there on Sunday night as the weather was nice this week so I thought id take it into work. How dare I!!!

Jesus. Must have been stolen to order by a gang led by a guy who is trying to save his kid brother's a$$ from a stereo typical British villain. :D

In all seriousness though. That's rotten mate and scary how well executed it must have been.

I've got no doubt that it was stolen to order. I was devastated as it was my 18th birthday present from my dad.
