Noz
Got an alignment issue or something so I want to get the box taken out soon. Plus I bought it and it doesn't shift into second easily, so already got a synchro worn so looking into having it fully built. Anyone recommend a rebuilder please? Never had a box rebuilt. Noz
Just got quoted £220 + VAT from these guys : http://www.gearboxman.co.uk/contact.html told them I'd supply parts: http://www.driftmotion.com/product-p/dm3045.htm So looking at 7-900 for parts and labour to build my R154. Worth it? Labour for rebuild seems a fair price!
jimojameso
Sounds a very good price to me for essentially a fresh gearbox
Scooter
Hardy Engineering look a very professional outfit, but this was just me looking locally I've not had the need either but may do with a W58 at some point. They seem to do loads of valuable classics and top end/complicated cars R8 RS6 etc. They have a facebook page etc might be worth a phone call?
