GTR Fever
Hey guys, Been a long while since I've been on, trying to sort out a few issues with the Supra. Fixed most of them so far, just some annoying ones left. Car is a N/A auto 1994 JDM that was swapped with an Aristo 2JZ-GTE and auto trans (from a 1995 Aristo). Outstanding issues to fix: 1) cold start and warm idle - assuming for now that the IACV needs to be cleaned so I will tackle that first before digging into anything else. 2) A/C idle-up does not work. Regarding the second issue, the RPM is supposed to increase a little when the compressor is engaged right? As it is now, when the compressor is engaged, the RPM drops, causing the compressor to disengage. Then the RPM increases, compressor engages, then the load drops the RPM again and the cycle continues. It is really annoying as I am trying to get the car daily friendly so I can use it to go to work. From what I've seen on other sites, it's a known issue when doing this swap. Can anyone help me fix this issue? I will really like to have my A/C system working like OEM. Thanks in advance.
keron
if you are using the aristo ecu, thats the problem... it does not let the ac work in a supra.
GTR Fever
How is that? The Aristo ECU does not have an idle-up feature for the A/C? Will a Supra TT auto ecu bolt right in and work 100%?
