Changing fuel pump, remap needed?

Hi Guy's, quick question, I'm nearing the end of my build, but I have a feeling that my 044 may be faulty, now it runs and drives and does have a map on it, it is a bit of a safe map at the moment so leans a tad towards the rich side of the scale, my question is, if I swap out the 044 and use one of the new uprated 044 based AEM pumps, would it cause the car to run a lot richer, obviously it will be going for further mapping, but I want to take it on Dragonball(although will have to drive sensibly :( ) and it won't be available for mapping until after DB, so though i'd check here first as obviously the injectors and FPR are set up with a normal 044, so will the uprated fuel pump be an issue and cause the car to run too rich?

Thanks

Marc

FPR = fuel preasure regulator

as long as you was not at the limit with the old pump and it was dropping preasure then you should be fine . as the fpr should be keeping it all stable anyway

Ace, thanks, I run an AEM AFR gauge, so can make sure everythings in check when I'm on the move anyway, just wanted to check.
