Hello,

i bought Digital Wideband UEGO Air / Fuel Ratio Gauge UEGO controller 52mm, Bosch 4.9 LSU sensor i have connected the gauge

but not the lsu sensor question is can i get rid of the stock o2 sensor plug the lsu sensor where stock o2 sensor was and connect it to the gauge and from there

to the ecu(infinity 8) or does the stock sensor has to stay and lsu sensor needs welding and connecting seperately ? car is 96 toyota supra tt bpu 6 speed.

As the ecu doesn't need a narrow band sensor if fed the signals from the wide band's controller, you can remove the stock O2 sensor from the turbo elbow and fit the wideband and connect it to the controller with the supplied loom. To fit the wideband you will need a two bolt to 18mm threaded adaptor. I may have a couple in stock, with the correct gaskets. The stock O sensor is not a screw in type like the 4.9 Bosch sensor.

It will depend on whether its been mapped using the std lambda feedback or not, if it has then you will either need to feed the wide-bands simulated narrow band to the ECU, or have it remapped using the wide-band sensor feedback, if its been mapped with lambda feedback turned off you will have no problems.
