Measuring Propshaft angles

Hi There,

Been mocking up propshafts today but needed a bit of guidance if that's ok.

I think I am right in saying the angle of the flange on the gearbox has to be the same as the angle on the Diff??

This is just a mock up at the moment

As this is slightly different to the usual Supra, I was just wondering if anyone could lend us some advice/thoughts.:D:d

You could consider c/v (Rzeppa) joints instead of the rubber doughnut and a Hardy Spicer cross type joint. Will need adaptors (not recommended) or diffrent g/box nd diff flanges.

Some info here, quite maths heavy:

I went for a heavy duty motorsport hardy Spicer on the front, and a c/v joint at the diff end, in 2 piece format on my Skyline. But your very short shaft may be OK as a one piece. Reco Prop are pretty good at recommending suitable set ups. GKN are world class along with Ricardo, but getting to the "right man" will be tricky.
