afennell
bit of bad news today, my wheels don’t fit over the uk calliper. Is there any chance there are any other brake kits that might fit?? As you all know bout me deciding about my turbos i have to look at all possibilities.
merckx
You could use some spacers if they need to come out a little!
TLicense
spacers The only brakes that are smaller than the UK's, as far as I know, are the Jap spec ones.
merckx
spacers I've got 3mm ones on the front, no problem . I wouldn't advise using ones that are too thick though. You might need longer studs to hold the wheels securely.
afennell
though as much, i would need too large a spacer.

RobAce
there is one way,how about we swap my jap rears for your uk ones then your wheels will fit
afennell
cant see any problems with swopping wheels with you, thats a very generous offer
chilli
I'm sure someone must make a decent wheel spacer kit? i.e. a properly made one that locates into the center of the hub (rather than floating around, located only buy the studs). A well made one should work ok, provided the "overall" offset doesn't change too wildley from standard - otherwise the wheelbearing isn't going to last as long and the handling is going to be very iffy. Does anyone make such a component?
CJ
I would speak to Ibrar at Pro Alloys as he is able to offer spacer solutions

chilli
Cheers Terry, you mean these http://www.performancealloys.com/alloy_wheel_spacers.asp then. They look excellent, I might be needing some myself for a bit of extra room for the uk calipers - I can't afford (or justify) new wheels... Do you know of a good distributor for these?
