brom86
Not a happy bunny today. Picked the car up from the body shop yest as it was getting a new bumper and bonnet. Looks amazing but only thing was it wasn't running well. It was as if it was misfiring!! Very sluggish and no power. Garage also said the battery was on its way out. They had to start it with a charger. Nursed it home and after cleaning inside the car it wouldn't start. Went and put a new battery in it there and it's just "ticking". Gi motorsport suspects a sticking starter. Any suggestion on how to get it going to get the car to the garage to sort both problems?? David P
Give the starter a "knock" with a heavy implement and it should then start and let you drive to a garage to have new brushes fitted in the starter motor.

jim
Get the pics up Craig! Sorry to hear you've got issues with it starting, battery wasn't that old when you bought the car, possible the bodyshop may have left the radio on, or doors ajar and the interior lights have drained it?
