Samurai 20V
Hi chaps.. Need some info.. EPC for the J spec TT6 lists two ecu's for a pre facelift non-VVTi. 89661 COMPUTER, ENGINE CONTROL 89661-14501 (10/1993 - 04/1996) 89661-14770 (05/1996 - 08/1997) Does anybody know if they are interchangeable? I have both, my car is a 1994 so stock is 89661-14501. The 89661-14770 has the same connector but when I connected it to my car it throws an 02 sensor error, car runs lean on idle. On boost it drives fine. Any info will be helpful. Thanks.
Samurai 20V
Guys, It seems the (05/1996 - 08/1997) ECU is OBDII... The Yanks on Supraforums swap them over with some mods to get rid of the lean spot on the changeover.. Can anyone confirm this?

I guess the mapping is different.. My car takes the 14501, I have a Mines 14770, its working fine, with the exception of the O2 sensor heater circuit error it always it had.. If its cheap enough, it may be worth a shot.
