Chris Wilson Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 Just make sure the tin sump isn't dented and pushed up closer than the design distance to the strainer bottom. It's a critical distance, a dented sump can really impede suction. Too much clearance will higely impact the likelyhood of air pickup, and possible pressure drop or oil starvation.
