2JZMKIV
Hello everyone, I own a 96 bpu tt with stock engine and stock turbos i use 10w60 mobil 1 but im concerned with my oil pressure readings from my defi gauge usually with full throttle it goes up to 8 bars but i remember i watched video of a built rb26dett and it was only reading 6 bars at full throttle i know a lot of thing changes 2jz and rb26 is not the same but 2 bar difference scares me should i go for 0w-40 or 5w-30 instead ? Thanks in advance for any helpful and useful information.
chrispot
8 bar sounds hi to me if the oil is at normal temp. i think mine has about 5 to 6. i would change oil for 5w 40 or 10w 40 fully synthetic regards chris
Tricky-Ricky
I thought this was answered here, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?303290-Oil-pressure-on-2jzgte/page3 Just change the 10w60 for a 10w40 and stop worrying.
