Scott
What is the name of the component that does this? I've tried a few searches but they have came up empty for what I am looking for. I want to attach a solar pump to one of my bits of homebrew kit, the solar pump I want to use needs 24v, or 12v, DC so I need some sort of inverter/transformer to do this. I just need the component, rather than a case, as it will be mounted inside the kit it's being attached to. 240Vac in, 24Vdc out Cheers

Hitbox Junkie
You need a 24v converter or power supply. we get our 230v to 24vdc 10 amp power supply from farnell or sunpower (sunpower seema to be cheaper but farnell usually has more stock. The one you lined looks good I hope it has the amps you want/need.
Chris88
Transformer Rectifier to go from AC to DC. Inverter to go from DC to AC.
Chris Wilson
Look for 24V DC switch mode power supplies on Ebay. The Chinese ones work fine, but choose an output at least 25% higher than you need as they tend to be optimistically rated. I have some here and no issues. How many Amps does it draw? Example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/24-volt-DC-power-supply-enclosed-switch-mode-24V-1-8A-40W-/320858784603?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4ab4ac835b or http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/24-volt-DC-2-7-Amp-Power-Supply-Unit-240v-AC-input-For-CCTV-Access-Control-etc-/331515030801?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4d2fd5ed11
T2 MSW
I have the first one Chris has linked above. Only issue I have is if you draw higher Amps they tend to get very hot to the point its untouchable.
