CardiffSupra
Anyone know the brake pad sizes for a j-spec tt please? Also where is the best place to get them from? Will toyota stock them or have to order? Thanx all!
merckx
What do you mean by the size? UK brakes or smaller J spec brakes? Toyota get most parts in 2 days, unlikely to have them in stock. Just give them your model and frame numbers.
Nic
Anyone know the brake pad sizes for a j-spec tt please? Also where is the best place to get them from? Will toyota stock them or have to order? Thanx all! Post photos of your front and rear brakes, so we can check which ones you have fitted. The smaller spec Supra brakes have 2 pot calipers on front, 1 pot on the rear, the larger spec have 4 pot front, 2 pot rear. I'd recommend getting a set of fast road pads from Chris Wilson (see contact details HERE) they will improve breaking of both the smaller and larger spec brakes. The Hornet
Also check the mkiv technical thread as the older 1993 J spec use different rear pads. I provided pictures and order codes.
