Scott
I need some real help with this one. I've got the signal converters that I need to wire in so that I can convert the signal to a square wave. The trouble is I have no idea how to wire them in. In putting the Syvecs in I have removed the traction control ECU. The pinouts that I'm checking from Ian C's guide shows the Traction control pins and the electrical wiring diagrams for the Supra show the sensors going from the ABS ECU to the traction control ECU. To that end, I have no idea which wires to splice into. I'm thinking that the traction control that was in the footwell is the ideal place to put the relays, I could even box them up neatly so that they plug in. I really need to know which wires to "convert" though. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Scott
I'll update as I go here. From the wiring diagrams I have found the following: Yellow with Black stripe - Rear Right ABS pin 6, throttle ECU pin 15. Grey with red stripe - Rear Left ABS pin 19, throttle ECU pin 7 Light Green with Black stripe - Front Right ABS pin 7, throttle pin 16 Orange - Front left ABS pin 20, throttle pin 8 I'm just going to trace the throttle ECU to see if it's a splice in or an input/output. Scott
I think I've sussed it, I'll need to check my harness though. It appeared be wired into the stock ECU loom but I'm guessing they aren't Makes it straight forward
Scott
Got the loom, there's nothing in there so that explains it Thankfully, and ironically, that simplifies it all for me. The throttle ECU plug in the footwell is where I will splice into the wires. I'll leave the loom intact should it be required in the future. I've ordered up some shielded cable just to do the best I can with it. The wires from my second post are the ones that I'll need to splice into. Scott
I've just gone through the wiring diagrams and made this for myself. May be of use to others if they find themselves in a similar situation.TC Wiring.xls
