All sorted ish. Cut the pink wire behind the clocks and spliced it into the blue one got o/d and kick down again but did a quick bodge to see if it worked which it did now dosnt work again so I'm guessing the wire twisting half ass job I did come undone I hope lol. Odd thing tho is the warning triangle is lit up still no codes etc. will have a look agai. In the morning if I do t go fast show

You shouldn't need to splice or cut into anything, few people have had similar problems and a lot of times it is due to loose connections. Don't cut into anymore wires, have a read up on here to try and if you can track down the issue.

I did. Granted I did a bodge that will be done right tomorrow. What I've read! Join the pink wire to the blue/red wire on the plug that go's to the odometer read out. Done that didn't work eml light and triangle lite come on and no speedo at all. Cut the pink wire befor the plug so the join was still to the blue/red wire. Problem solved ish. Kick down and o/d work and speedo worked. Only problem was warning triangle lite is still on all the time. Apart from that for the last 3 hours driving about and giving it some hell it's been fine doing what it should until I got near home started to play up again but the wires was twisted together not soldered hence bodge. And it wasn't a good connection so hoping it's come off. So run down. Pink wire cut and the loom side joined to the blue/red wire the other end left not joined to anything
