Chris Bailey
Because you have a bigger downpipe, front mount intercooler, boost controller. You basically have a half bpu car.
add heywood
A boost controller can only increase boost, not decrease it. The standard exhaust limits the amount of exhaust gasses going through the turbos. Because you have increased the flow of the exhaust your boost has increased. Be carefull if you're on standard injectors and fuel pump etc
Glanza_Mike
You'll be needing a restrictor ring in the downpipe by the sounds of it.
Guest vansterdam731
so are u guys saying for my supra to go back to stock boost ...i have to change my car back to stock parts?
Mk4Gaz
No, if you fit a 2" restrictor ring in your downpipe, you should be much closer to factory boost levels.

JackyBoi
Be careful mate, sounds like you could, at times, be running a little over 1.2bar which on stock jspec turbos isn't good news as they can realistically only handle 1.2bar reliably. Fit a restrictor ring as mentioned above
