I've had to interview people in the past, here's a breakdown of some crackers: - One fine fellow turned up 20minutes late, in sweat-pants and a hoodie, arrived with an 'entourage' of fellow synthetic fibered friends. My boss interviewed this one, by interview I mean he made him wait 20minutes in his office then told him to leave. - "Job center told me to come or I lose my benefits" He didn't get the job - One lady turned up in a mini skirt and no underwear. Left quite the imprint on a faux-leather chair. She was short-listed, the seat was binned. - Another arrived for an interview... With his dog and a crumpled up CV, entitled "*****s curriculum vito" It blew my mind, all my life I had it drilled into me that I turn up for every interview in a suit with a fresh CV. Gaz6002 Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Yep, I've interviewed some shockers too - terrible spelling, lazy punctuation and no idea how to act in a social environment. Unreal when you think what I do for a job! Why do they even bother?! It's the same for work experience applicants. Taking time on an application pays. Same as writing a classified advert for a car. Al Massey Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 We had a guy apply for here And on his CV was his military experience. 5 weeks in basic training.
