Pudsey
Hi all, I have checked the tech spec on oils as written by Alex. My question is this.... I picked up some service parts from my local dealer today, and was advised they did a good deal on oils over the phone at the time. I said as long as its fully synthetic, I would go for some in 10w 40w. Turns out now i have took it out the bags, its a 10w 40w Semi synthetic. Is this alright to use, or should I only go 5w 40w Fully synthetic only. The car is a stock vvti twin turbo, on 48k. Opinions? Many thanks

Chris Bailey
As above...aslong as its wet and slippery When you change the oil again, use 10w 60.
JackyBoi
10w40 fully synthetic is what I use normally, or if I'm feeling generous 10w50
Pudsey
Thanks for the feedback. I have taken it back for a refund today, and shall invest in some fully synthetic as per the Alex thread sticky recommendations. Should have double checked first
