gavin.starr
Im in the middle of making a scissor lift in the garage. The trouble is my maths is'nt great so i need a bit of help. Excuse the crappy diagram i just knocked it up for the purpose of this. The main bars are 2.5m long pivoted in the middle and i want it to lift to 1m in height. The calculation im after is how much travel im going to get if the main bars are fixed at the right hand side end. If you know what i mean. The bottom pic has a dimention missing its that which im trying to find. Any help would be great. Gav
