Played with fuses, now it doesn't start lol

I'm a complete dick when it comes to car electrics...two days ago took the plastic trim off and fitted a new headunit, after putting it all back together my indicators and hazards stopped working...first I checked if I plugged everything in and was all fine.

Then I checked fuses, a thread on here showed that a 7.5 amp fuse in the drivers footwell was for the indicators, pulled and checked each 7.5 and all seemed good, put them back in and I'm positive everything was put back in it's original slot, but now the car doesn't start...there is lights on the dash etc but you turn the key and there is no ignition and the lights of the clock / heater controls turn off until key is released...no click nothing, battery deffo has life in it have checked that.

Would one of those 7.5 amp fuses cause this?

Look at everything you done twice just to be sure you not trapped a wire or not plugged a plug in home fully as been said if hazard light switch not plugged in your have no indercators been there myself!! And thought I done something very bad but just come down to the top part of the dash was in the boot lol

As for dash lights did you wire the stereo in to the dimmer wire so go's dimmer like the rest of dash lights for night driving?? Have you tested the fuse? It sounds like you may have a crossed wire in something you may of done and it's earthing it's self out so that's why no power when turning key and as to why the lights all go out ??

Hope you sort it out soon :)
