Guest TimothyW1994 Posted March 16, 2015 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Hi guys, My wastegate accuator on my 1993 twin turbo supra is broken and needs replacing. This malfunction has caused my car to over boost and lose power. My turbos need to be removed first before replacing the actuator. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue with their car and/or had experience removing the turbos from their car and if so what's involved? Is it a big job ? My mechanic says a broken wastegate accuator could possibly mean a faulty turbo, is this possible ? Also not sure if theres a specific actuator I should be looking for ?
