You may want to give us an idea why you need to know?

Seen it a couple of time now in Bury St Edmunds (where I live) and had a little race the other day :sly: , interested to see how much power he has

My neighbour owns a Focus RS, it's easily quicker than my NA 5spd, at sub 100mph I would bet they're not too far off a totally stock TT. They're good fun to drive and don't handle too bad for FWD... I don't like the diff though!

I do like the RS focus in green, very nice

What mods have you done to the focus mate ?

Revo Stage 5 , running around 440 bhp

Got a bigger Borg Warner turbo in (S200). Quite a few cars running GT30's & a couple GT35's though.

My dad used to have an XR2i when he was younger!

Still admire the old Escort RS Cosworths greatly, they are very nice.

Not really up on my knowledge of Supras (dare I say it on a supra forum  ) but my god , the one I saw sounded out of this world!

Certainly are

I hear the Supra engines are pretty much bullet proof, even at quite high power?!

Do you reckon so? ;)

Some of the Yanks have managed over 1000hp on the dyno on a totally stock engine block. In practice the stock engine certainly seems to be good for over 700hp.

The auto transmission will take over 500lb/ft and the 6 speed manual can cope with anything you throw at it, plenty run over 800 lb/ft through it.

They're a great looking car, that is eminently tunable and very reliable.

Wow. The RS standard internals seem good for about 420bhp lol, quite a difference.

In terms of tuning ; how expensive/what is needed to get from stock to around 500-600bhp?

A friend of mine has an RS Focus. Great cars and handle like they're on rails.

My first car was a mk3 XR3i. Bought it at 16 and stripped it down, did all the paint preparation and a mate's dad resprayed it back to it's former glory. Later on the piston rings gave up so I bought a second hand engine and rebuilt that, then swapped them over.

Also had a Fiesta RS Turbo. It was superchipped to 160bhp and would pull into the red in 5th. That was a great street car for it's day.

I'd love to have a Series One RS Turbo as a garage queen. Still love those cars.
