Hi guys

Myself and a few others have been thinking of doing a large meet gathering other a weekend, Sat night or if at a bank holiday sunday evening

First thought was a Christmas meet but the weather will put a lot off, then I thought maybe a summer ball

I have been in talks with Wroxall abbey hotel which is central and is very nice

We visited it last month and managed to get a good discount on the rooms if we was to fill it

Rates:

Rooms – dependant on numbers and time of year this would range from £80 single / £90 double to £90 single / £100 double includes breakfast

If all bedrooms are booked you would have exclusive use of the estate. If all Court bedrooms are booked you can have exclusive use of the Court for a BBQ, and same applies to Mansion. Exclusive use is applicable to the day of the night of stay only (i.e. Saturday), and no extra charges would be incurred with the exception of the show field and marquee.

I know it does look dear but it is a great hotel and they are keen to get car clubs due to the owner being a car nut

Would love this!! Have recently been thinking myself about whether a Supra only meet on a national level would work - I think it would be awesome at this venue :)

 

How many rooms would we need to fill then for 'exclusive' use?

By memory I think they have about 70 rooms between the house and the stables

That can easily be filled.

 

If we get exclusive use of things, can easily think of many activities etc for us all to do.

 

Cracking weather, BBQ, get the playstation on the projector on the go

 

Will be an awesome weekend
