Claire Helen
Hi All, I'm currently working on restoring my MKIV NA Supra and I am looking at getting Recaro or Cobra Seats in Leather. Where is the best place to get them? (I am based in the South East of England) Has anyone got any recommendations? I'd need rails too!! I've also found these sites so far! http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/toyota-supra-racing-bucket-seats/cat_436.html http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/toyota/supra/seats/cobra-seats.html Thanks

cered
I'll be going with Cobra Daytonas (Black vinyl, sidewinder base with red stitching, hollow grey COBRA logo) this summer from sportseats4u. Haven't tried them but they seem popular and look pretty comfy... Extremely comfy probably compared to OEM supra seats. If I had the know-how I'd glue ina pair of Alfa GT recaros because they're probably the comfiest seat I've been in since my uncles ancient sapphire Cossie'

Not in the form of an after market seat anyways
cered
don't think you would find a comfy seat then the OEM supra seat. Not in the form of an after market seat anyways We shall see, just need something more supportive. Even the OEM seats in my MX5 had more width on the base (I'm not even fat/big/tall...) and acceptable side support. Got a few others lined up if I don't like the Cobras (Sparco R100s & R333s and cheap Corbeaus). See what happens!

Claire Helen
Yeh i agree i found the basic Supra seat very comfy, and my daughter who has had scoliosis surgery says it's the comfiest car iv'e had.Interestingly i didn't find my subsequent leather Supra seats as good. I had scoliosis when I was younger, so comfort is important plus mine is lowered so I feel all the bumps!! My current seats look so outdated though and the motor has gone on the drivers side rail, so doesn't move back and forth, so thought it may be good to get some new seats. Quite like the idea of them being black, not too worried about leather. Just wanted to see what others do.
