a98pmalcolm
Well I wasnt looking forward to doing this but once I completed the 1st one the 2nd light was a breeze. Oven had to be just under 90 degrees with the lens face down on a towel. Just got to wait for the 7440 fit l.e.d's to come through. Before pic: After pics (car is a bit filthy sorry): And a quick oven pic as I took one... Thanks Paul

a98pmalcolm
Yep much better mate, told you it was easy! haha yep. Thanks for the advice. It really was simple. I was super worried to do it as the lights are only a few years old. I had the oven just under 100 degrees so it was about 90. 15 - 20 mins it needed. YOU MUST HAVE IT LENS FACING DOWN, no instruction says this I didn't know this so on the 1st one the heat wasn't getting to the under part of the light making the glue not soft enough to split apart at the bottom (were the 3 tabs are). But have it on a towel so lined grill marks wont show. The 1st light took me an hour and half. From my tough time and lessons I learnt from doing the 1st one the second light was a breeze to so. Did it super quick. I didnt need to use any re-sealant as there was so much glue. Oh and with poping the amber lens out was mega easy. Most instructions say its hard. Just push the tabs in slowerly and they bend due to them being so hot and then once there out bend the old tabs back into position encase you want to re use them.
