mattdavies
As some of you may know I have a set off all clear rear lights, I have recently purchased some parts to potentially make another set. But I am thinking if I might prefer something a little different, maybe Clear, Red, Red, Clear OR Smoked all clear Does any body have pictures of something along these lines ? Andrew K
When you've put the lights in the oven to soften the black gunk that holds them together to pull them apart, what is best used to seal them up again? Also where can you get the clear lenses from for doing this mod?
DodgyRog
This is the guide I followed http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35632-Rear-light-conversion&highlight=clear+lens+conversion My thread from back in the day http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?152996-Rear-indicator-conversion-done The indicator lenses (pre facelift) are the same size as the reversing ones, so you just need to get hold of another set Edited March 6, 2015 by DodgyRog (see edit history)

Scott
Just bung them in the oven to soften the black gunk that holds them together and prize them apart. Simples No, no, no, no! You need to remove the screws as well. Giving people advice is great but giving them advice that could break their lights isn't. Plenty of people have also cooked their lights in the oven thanks to the guide that's on here suggesting to put them in at 200 deg C.
