Petrol Tank Liner -- Paint

It's the top side that usually rusts, when I took mine off all the dirt, stones and moisture had got trapped between the cover and the tank and rusted.

If you can get it off it would be much better as you can the true extent of the rust.

Are they a PITA to get off? Do you need a ramp? Rear bumper off?

I took mine off when it was imported so it had never seen salt etc as a result it came off in 5 minutes with no fuss it also didnt have a spec of rust..

If I remember correctly there are 4-5 10mm bolts holding it on its a very simple job you will need to jack/axle stand the rear of the car and get under to do it though.

you will see..
