RedM
Having looked at many Supra dashes I've noticed that, along with my own, the speedo only reads MPH. How do you work oout how fast you are going when in France, for example? Do they have the speed in MPH too or do you need to do maths while on the move? ivan
I'm going to fix a clear piece of plastic over the speedo with KPH marked on it next week.
Whitelightning
What are you looking at your speedo for ? Have you not got a rev-meter ?
Pete
I used my road Angel. Naughty! 80 MPH = 128.74KPH 130 KPH is the max speed on the Paege in the dry.
ivan
I can't see the speed on mine too clearly (Mk1 R.A.) and I certainly ain't taking it abroad...
garethr
How's your mental arithmetic? For a quick approximation, multiply everything but the last digit by 6 to get the equivalent in miles per hour. 140 kph = 84 mph (actually 87.5 mph) 130 kph = 78 mph (actually 81.3 mph) 100 kph = 60 mph (actually 62.5 mph) 60 kph = 36 mph (actually 37.5 mph) 50 kph = 30 mph (actually 31.3 mph) EDIT: Typed 50 kph twice. MrRalphMan
My MkII had the digitial display and could switch betweem MPH and KPH at the touch of a button. That was quite cool and just as good as drive as the MKIV. I loved that car...
Chase
How about a switchable speedo conversion, allowing people to flick between KPH/MPH...
Nick
I honestly don't bother unless I see a copper and then slow it down to around 85mph. The bike has a digital switchable speedo. Very nice, but I've yet to use it !
