How do you judge speed when in Europe?

Having looked at many Supra dashes I've noticed that, along with my own, the speedo only reads MPH.

How do you work oout how fast you are going when in France, for example? Do they have the speed in MPH too or do you need to do maths while on the move?

How's your mental arithmetic?

For a quick approximation, multiply everything but the last digit by 6 to get the equivalent in miles per hour.

140 kph = 84 mph (actually 87.5 mph)

130 kph = 78 mph (actually 81.3 mph)

100 kph = 60 mph (actually 62.5 mph)

60 kph = 36 mph (actually 37.5 mph)

50 kph = 30 mph (actually 31.3 mph)

EDIT:

Typed 50 kph twice.
