TuneR
Trying to decide on which suit the car better so i threw on an old facelift headlight that the car came with and gave it a quick polish (they need rings doing though). I prefer the facelift lights but i think the UKs actually suit the colour and the car better? I would probably buy a new set of facelifts if i decided on them but the UKs and indicators are only 1/2 years old. Thoughts?
Ric
i have a similar dilemma with my gunmetal car i have UK's at the moment
mike33
I went the uk route and my car is a very similar colour..
evinX
I have both, just in case. I think facelifts looks cooler but they are plastic. The UK's on yours looks like an American spec supra which is nice
j_jza80
Facelift
hogmaw
I have the same colour car as you and a few years ago I tried the UK lights... big mistake, didn't like them at all! Got rid and now back with facelift lights... much better
supra_ufo
I would go face lifts if you can afford them, I went UK glass because they were alot cheaper and I like better light output
Glanza_Mike
Usually i'd say facelift and it's not even close for me but on your car the UK's actually look really nice and i'd probably choose them to be honest. Lovely colour & car you have, looks a great Supra
ripped_fear
The thing is the facelifts look better and more modern but only when new. Most look hazed, fogged or corded. The Uk's will at least last being glass, but if you can afford to buy new from MrT then get some face lifts.
Kaan W
Has to be the UK spec glass for me, the face lifts only work with a handful of colours. Tried both as well but the facelifts didn't suit - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=198219&d=1425322813
Chris Bailey
Both great...but I think Facelift just edges it for me

jamesmark
UK Spec for any colour. Facelifts in my opinion are ghastly IMHO.

Big Mark
I'd say facelift, but then again I've just forked out for a brand new pair of facelifts so am probably biased.
mwilkinson
Facelift for me. The all chrome internals on pre-facelift and UK spec remind me of aftermarket saxo / corsa rear lights.
Graham1984
UK Spec facelifted, win win Would agree with this.
Abz
I like the look of the facelifts but they are a pain to keep clean & not have issues with them. I found the UK Spec's give a much more crisp light output and hassle free.
HarleyFDMD
Im currently in the process of face lifting my UKs so have the best of both worlds. Black inserts and glass lenses
j_jza80
It's not just the colour that's preferable on facelifts, the arrangement of the lights is neater too. The pre facelift sidelights are especially ugly. I do admit that UKs do look nicer on sone cars though, they're definitely growing on me. jonc
UK Spec for any colour. Facelifts in my opinion are ghastly IMHO. This for me also. But its all in the eye of the beholder tbh:d
