Suprakeith
My 1994 jspec N/A has a rear fog light. From what I know Japanese import cars need to have rear fog light fitted when come into the UK
Scott
Needs a fog light to pass. That's why most of us do the fog light mod.
Benjy
All cars after 1980 require a fog light. Pics of the number plates? And the rest of the failure?
Carzymike1987
Cheers guys the car has been in the UK for 10 years or so n nothing been flagged up, How much are these kits? Also didn't know my number plates were not the right size [emoji20]
pete.osborne69
Sorry to hear your supe failed, As far as I'm aware all UK spec cars came with fog lights fitted as standard where as they are or were not a requirement in Japan so they weren't fitted So if your car is an import and never had the fog light mod done it would be safe to assume you don't have one But judging from the MOT certificate, it does have one and a switch to go with it, if it has had the tail lights nodded with the fog light the best thing to start with is the wiring. Check in the boot near the light loom and see if it has been cut into at all, if it has it probably has had the fog light mod done just check all of the wires coming from the loom to make sure they are correctly connected I would also check the switch in the dash, pull it out and make sure they are all connected. If it is a UK spec car I couldn't really tell you what to look for as mine is a J-Spec so I had to do the fog light mod my self so I'm just going on my knowledge of what I had to do to, to get it working There is a thread on here in regards how to do the fog light mod if you need it, sorry I don't have the link Hope this helps you in some way And good luck with sorting out your supe

Cheers everyone I can sort number plates so that's all good, Tbh that is it, well the only thing that I was unsure of, others are just horn not secure, new pads front and rear, and apparently my drivers seat is "loose"
Benjy
Pads can only be failed if they are obviously less than 1.5mm thick (although they should be replaced if they're bad...), horn insecure? Not sure how they can fail that!
pete.osborne69
For the drivers seat only thing I can think of is check in the tightness of the bolts that hold it in place
Carzymike1987
Thank you guys. She does really need some TLC trying to do everything slowly and right, the good point she passed the emissions test.

Tricky-Ricky
Just for reference, if your car is fitted with import size plates (size can be found on VOSA website) they are fine and can be failed.

JasonR24
Seems like there being overly picky. The fog light fair enough but serious "horn insecure", "seat loose" either your car is falling apart and loose everywhere which I doubt. Or they are just nobs

Was it not bolted down properly or was there forward and backwards play in the seat? (I've noticed that in a couple of Supras with the stock seats).
