ChrisR
I will be getting a full flush of my Auto box completed, how much Type T-IV ATF Fluid (08886-81015) should i buy to be sure. I thought i read on here i could need up to 16 litres to be safe and may get some back at the end. Anyone who has purchased some before does it come in 4 litre tubs. Thanks in advance. Steve Cargill
Hi Chris, at my last service I have the gearbox oil filter changed (35330-50010 Strainr Oil G/B) and changing that took about 10L. It comes in 4L tins (the oil that is)

Would you recommend then to have the gearbox oil filter (35330-50010 Strainr Oil G/B)changed at the same time. Now you have mentioned it, it makes sense. Do you know of any other consumable parts i should be considering or is that it. Cheers Chris

adi
Get 16 litres... they reckon you'll need up to 12 but it cant hurt to have another can in reserve. I was advised to get 16 by my autobox place, glad i did as i now have a can spare and can refill as and when required, or keep it for a partial flush.
