drift_bear
I decided that since the weather is nice, I would take the car to my work for once. I checked all fluids and they were fine, checked the temps as I was driving and all seemed fine and there was no knocking/banging/smoke... When I reached the dual carriageway i gave it some boost (1.2bar) and the master triangle and yellow warning light came on for about 2-3seconds then went off and never came back on. I carried on to work but just nursed it to see if it came back on, but it never. I will need to hook up the syvecs to the computer this weekend, but anyone have any ideas what it could be or what to check?
mellonman
I thought that was when the stock ecu saw knock , but the syvecs would of picked that up?
TheTurtleshead
Knock warning light... not sure if it's configured to other warnings. Need to plug your laptop in and take a look.
Tricky-Ricky
I presume you checked the brake fluid level?
drift_bear
I thought that was when the stock ecu saw knock , but the syvecs would of picked that up? There's nothing flashes up on the toucan for knock, will just have to plug the old laptop in Knock warning light... not sure if it's configured to other warnings. Need to plug your laptop in and take a look. What would be causing that? I presume you checked the brake fluid level? :p
mellonman
do you even have a stock ecu in it anymore ? if you dont how would it know to light up unless the syvecs has been wired to do it some how , or you could always have a loose wire somewhere
TheTurtleshead
If Alex has the standard Syvecs Adapter harness, then to the best of my knowledge it's wired as below: Supra Pin 6A, will be wired to Pin 23 on the S6 plug. This will be configured to a spare injector output(Probably INJ8)/ assigned as KNOCK Light in PIN Configuration. Anyway, check the logs Alex! Gaz6002
Was the oil and water fully warm before booting it? Sounds a bit like knock but I'm not sure of your full specs.
