supra digsey
Ok ive done a bit of digging on the old threads. What happened was i removed the auto shifter to fit a carbon plate. While removed the small white shaped part has turned around on the thread meaning it wont go in p etc and key wont come out the ignition without taking off the battery. So does anyone have a picture of the correct way the shaped plastic part sits after removing the knob and od button? I know that you need to adjust it up and down so it locks into the button but do you have to push it down to put the screws back in? Shouldnt have bloody touched it lol. Im going to order a new léver for it on friday so i never need to mess about with it again once i fix it lol. Thanks
Poshmalc
The button just pushes the plastic on the threaded metal part down mate, it only goes one way! It's a really simple system
supra digsey
I've had a few goes and it just won't sit right. Do you need to push the lever down to put the 2 screws in or should it line up with the holes without doing that? Thanks for the help mate
Poshmalc
It should just pop on and you should be able to tighten the screws anyway bud! The button doesn't need to be depressed

evinX
When you slide the knob over the slanted white plastic piece and its lined up inside, push the big button and the knob will fully slip onto the lever lining up the front and rear holes to put the screws in

evinX
Check to see if there are any wires hindering it, I got a unit sat here and there are wires close by underneath the face plate
