ShawnPreece
Or if you wonted to max it I would go 23k as they never pay out full amount if something were to happen, Yeah good thinking as they will never pay out the full agreed amount so might aswell put abit extra on £25K would be the max you'd be able to put down without needing a tracker fitted. I do have a tracker fitted but its not yet activated... it will be very soon though

Tommyd16
Looks good. Are you going to move that number plate though? Must be blocking a lot of air flow to the front mount
ShawnPreece
Come on then spill the beans, whats the plans? Haha nothing to major this year (or not compared to last year anyway lol) will just be: 1.4 bar wastegate spring Screamer pipe Removing middle box of exhaust Hecklers LED front indicators Metal monkey dials New double din head unit Built install in boot So far that's all I have planned anyway
ShawnPreece
Looks good. Are you going to move that number plate though? Must be blocking a lot of air flow to the front mount Nah it's only an import size plate so is plenty of room around it

Sheefa
That looks absolutely stunning mate, incredible transformation. It's seeing threads like this that make me want to bite the bullet and modify my stock UK exterior.
ShawnPreece
That looks absolutely stunning mate, incredible transformation. It's seeing threads like this that make me want to bite the bullet and modify my stock UK exterior. Thanks mate It's been off the road and sat nicely in the garage since the start of November to keep it tidier but just come out again now as I'm doing a few bits to her before summer comes nothing major like last year but just a few bits to improve it slightly and to keep it tidy Definitely mate I was a little dubious about doing this to a UK spec shell but you only live once so gotta do what makes you happy so I'd say go for it if it's what you want

Hitbox Junkie
Are you going to finish the boot build off in red leather as well or got different plans?
ShawnPreece
Are you going to finish the boot build off in red leather as well or got different plans? Sorry mate only just seen your reply, my plan is carbon wrap as I got the red leather all around the boot so will keep with the red leather and carbon interior scheme I'm also adding another battery with an isolator switch too so building 2 compartments for the batteries and washer bottle then a centre compartment with a lift up lid that I can put cleaning stuff etc in coming on quite well so far so hoping it will look how I got pictured in my head lol
ShawnPreece
Been a lot happened on this but haven't got round to updating the thread.... ShawnPreece
Apologies that iv not really had chance to update this thread so I will update what I have done now (mainly with pictures )………….. Continuing from my previous post about it here is how I finished off my install…… I wanted to keep a small useable boot so came up with the lids idea to keep it looking tidy and hid all the general rubbish that is kept in the boot and also added 2 isolator switches (1 for each battery) so that I can turn 1 off if wanting to listen to the music while the engines off and know I got a full battery to start the engine again….. - - - Updated - - - Then onto my LED Indicators I thought these looked better for the theme of the car and especially as the have the carbon inserts in them Edited July 20, 2017 by ShawnPreece (see edit history)
ShawnPreece
I then had a photoshoot with Viki Wilson (VBot Takes Pictures). Obviously there was a personal element in it for me but she is a great photographer and would recommend her to anyone wanting photos, here are just a few of the pics……….. - - - Updated - - - I then decided to go for the teamtarmac rubber tyre writing using a rubber to rubber adhesive to add the “TOYO PROXES R888” to the tyres…….
