ShawnPreece
Sorry for delay guys I find it easier to use works computer to upload the pics so here goes... I finish work half days on fridays so I went up to Tims while he was doing the last bits on the engine to take it away later on when it was finished... Here is my progress of the weekend from then on in pics (we all love pics) A pic of the engine when I turned up at lunchtime... First thing was Cam covers back on (and then a few more pics) Then Tim was making the water lines to and from the Turbo and adding a brace to the oil lines, here is how beautiful they came out... Then a pic of the engine on the tilt from when he was installing the lines to the turbo (thought it looked cool on the tilt so had to do it) The finished product before wrapping it to take home... All wrapped up and strapped down on the trailer for the drive home (was the slowest and steadiest drive I have ever had) Saturday morning was an exciting time for Sally as she saw her engine again in all its new 3.4 litre glory... (check out that smile on her face) First job was to get this lovely RPS triple carbon billet clutch out the packaging... Then prep for install... Here she is sat lovely on the back of the engine... Used the gearbox on and off to line up the plates... Then first problem hit as we are minus the bearing carrier... Dad thinking of idea's for the best tool to use to get around problems... Sally just resting up on the ramp ready for when we can get the bearing carrier to carry on... Big Mark
Looking good!! Just one point, why did you go for the vacuum ports on top of the inlet? I put mine all underneath for a much cleaner look.

TheTurtleshead
Not sure if you realise or not but trying to be helpful. You’ll need to unbolt the clutch cover again to fit the bearing carrier. Water lines etc look very neat! Hope it all goes smoothly for you

Hope it all goes smoothly for you Yes mate didn't realise that at the start it was only putting the gearbox to it at the end we realised it was a pull type clutch and that it needed a carrier lol, Iv ordered some more loctite for when we put the clutch back on but with the carrier this time, luckily Whifbitz have a carrier in stock so im leaving work slightly early and going down today to pick one up cheers for the heads up though and thanks yeah they come out nice and neat
