JohnA
Why? There is no noticable difference at all when modifying the car. Because they're heavy, high-mileage slugs. tsk tsk tsk

AJI
this old chessnut again..... to solve it once and for all goto GOOGLEFIGHT.COM enter keywords : keyword 1 --- UK-spec keyword 2 --- J-spec the results speak for themselves ha ha ha in the end both cars are Supras and both can be made faster than the other by the amount of money you chuck at them....... the question of argument should possibly be .... "which car do you have to spend more money on to get the best power/torque gains?" But then this is a completely open ended question because how much power do you want? Not many owner leave their car standard... and it money will no doubt dictate the choice of car and what your plans are with it. So there ca never be a "which is the best argument" because it will be ifferent for each and every one of us !!
chilli
I think you're right there, I wonder if the best stock car would be a mix of the two really: Uk brakes without a doubt J-Spec turbos for less lag (at standard boost they are perfectly reliable) Uk glass headlights (no yellowing) If only they made such a beast! After that it mostly comes down to personal taste / opinions really...
