Guest Tosheon
Hi all, I'm having some major electrical issues with my supra and any advise would be greatly appreciated. I recently fried the wire for the cig lighter socket and burnt the wire all way through the harness. I managed to completely remove the large harness and replace the wire as this wire also fed the folding wing mirrors, clock and I believe the heater. I re fitted the harness and the car starts up and most things work. Clock works, cig lighter, wing mirrors, etc the only problem I do have is there doesn't seem to be any power to the buttons which control the fans. And also the fan dial or temperature switch does not do anything. Strange thing is when I turn the headlights on the fans also come on what have I done wrong? Any ideas? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. - - - Updated - - - Also the rest of the wires in the harness are fine. ibby
You have a short. Or When you replaced the wires you haven't taken care of the common earth. Did you chech the fuses etc ? Chech the entire length of the loom.?
