nemo_arta
I changed my front wings/ fenders today and found a yellow electric round box up inside the arch way I think I damaged it but I don't know what it is. It's made by denso. The yellow item is now bigger then 2" in circumference. Any ideas?

pedrosixfour
I would imagine they are to do with the airbag deployment, deceleration/impact sensors perhaps.

Ric
it will say SRS Sensor or something on it, which is airbag related, yellow items usually are SRS items.

np89
Its a circuit breaker essentially. The actual circuit will be completed if the chassis leg contacts the chassis through way of a collision and will complete the circuit blow the sensor and set off the bags. Though at 20 odd years old your airbag circuit probably doesnt work anymore. I think they "typically" have a lofespan of 10 years at which you are "supposed" to get them checked and replaced if necessary. Not true of all cars im sure but thats the procedure
