What's the yellow box inside the front wing arches?

Its a circuit breaker essentially. The actual circuit will be completed if the chassis leg contacts the chassis through way of a collision and will complete the circuit blow the sensor and set off the bags. Though at 20 odd years old your airbag circuit probably doesnt work anymore. I think they "typically" have a lofespan of 10 years at which you are "supposed" to get them checked and replaced if necessary. Not true of all cars im sure but thats the procedure
