Hi everyone, not been on here in a while,

So was charging the battery this am and accidentally locked the steering,

The problem is as I go to start the car nothing, the key will not turn at all.

I have tried to turn the key a little and disengage the lock but that won't work either

Has anyone had this problem and am I being thick??

Have you tryed the key in the lock as normal but pulling the steering wheel about??

My old bmw did it all the time if you pulled the wheel round with out engine running it locks out but under tension all I ever did was got in put key in turn key slowly and move wheel left and right to pull the tension off the locking pin click she fired up no probs oh other thing if it's auto mine won't turn or start if it's not in park!

Let us know how you get on :)

It's just really annoying as I wanted to start putting her back together and through the mot etc and now can't even start her,

I was being rough with her the other day I will give it another try tomorrow and update you all

And thank you guys

Also I'm in Swindon
