suprano
Has anyone got or used a competition stage 4 clutch on a w58 if so what are they like or does any know how a 6 paddle clutch feels over stock? Cheers
Gpro
I have the competition clutch stage 5 on a V160, it bites hard but you get used to it. As pressure pedal goes feels fine for me but I have never driven a stock clutch supra so can't compare
a98pmalcolm
NEVER GO COMPETITION CLUTCH Paul whifin stopped sellin them due to issues. I went though 3 in a year and got a refund eventually.. ON BPU!!!! There stiff as hell too! I had lower back pain on one of my sides to 2 days from pushing so hard on that crap clutch!!! Edit: After my 1st issues http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?267508-Need-Advice-On-What-Clutch-Pulling-My-Hair-Out-A-Little When enough was enough and before my refund http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?271986-Possible-Legal-Advice-Against-Clutch-Company Took me a little while to go though my posts to share this so the so another member doesn't have to go through the crap I did. And there was a number of members PM'ing me with the same issues I have had no issue at all with mt RPS triple plate since 2012 with zero slipping on 680BHP.. Expensive yes.. Amazing also with stock feel... Edited February 4, 2015 by a98pmalcolm (see edit history)

black_widow87
Had one of these clutchs fitted for over 3 years and tbh a cant complain. Despite my clutch related problem a year or so ago, the finger was pointed at the clutch but turned out to be a factory part that failed. My car was used everyday with this clutch, yes it quite snappy, yes its slightly heavier than stock, yes it can rattle abit but held my power extremley well.
