What gauge wire for sensors etc?

Can be thinner still, the only sensor with much current draw is the O2 sensor heaters which draw quite a bit. Anything off the 5V reference from the ECU will be drawing milli amps. I'd wory more about copper content of the wire, and insualtion material, some Ebay wire has sod all copper in the conductors. Teflon insulation would be nice, but a PITA to strip without special tools.

Thanks for the input Chris. I was thinking that but wanted to be sure. Will see what quality of wire I can pick up from eBay. I've ordered a sample pack from a seller so I'll get it on the megger and see how much it heats up :D

I've already sorted out the wideband with something a little more heavy duty so that side of things should be OK. I'm going to sheath all of the wires that i'm using anyway, so they should be relatively safe in and around the bay, I'll be careful how I'm placing them :)
