Look very nice berg

Cheers Gary

That looks like a nice kit. Can I be rude and ask the cost?

Its a really quality kit to be fair, well pleased with it and if your looking to save money on big tubular manifold setups its perfect, tested upto 750hp i believe the manifold became restrictive after that point

Drop me a pm if you need info

It looked good before as a TT setup but going single gives it a edge with the purple colours

Good job :)

Cheers, i didnt want to over do it with colour but i think it goes well with the polished look

This, please PM me if you dont want to say openly :)

Did I miss what engine management you are going to be using?

More than likely be going for an aem v2 or the new link, not yet decided

Those strut tops have inspired me to make some similar style ones

Cars looking great, I'm so glad my very first CNC spark cover ended up on such a nice build

I'm surprised ive never seen anyone else in the uk with these strut tops to be fair, theya re kind of pricey though so if you can make your own then bonus!

Spark covers looking dull as is everything else with mucky finger prints all over, will be polished back to former glory once its all done :)

So i picked up a bargain last week

Now have an R154 conversion which is from a jzx100 chaser so has remote shifter and everything required to bolt on

Ive gone with a spec stage 3+ clutch kit from whifbitz as it will hold the power im going to be running

Started to paint it in VHT engine paint

Shifter bushes on the new gearbox looked a bit worn and virtually disintegrated

Seemed such a simple job to change, but still somehow snapped my vice in half trying to remove them

image

Popped down to my mates garage and used his press instead old bushes out and new solid ones fitted

Dam, bushes can be a total pain to get out.

So is the new gearbox now in?

Yer they can be, these were easy when using a proper vice not a cheap one made of cheese lol

Na im waiting for the clutch to arrive, looks like it will be end of next week now which leaves 2 days to get it all done before i leave for Nurburgring so i doubt it will be happening till after

My dads friend runs a recovery/delivery business so hes my breakdown cover

Most breakdown cover you leave the car and have to wait upto 3 weeks to get it back which id rather not do

Who knows what can happen
