Bit of progress made now

Started cleaning the whole bay while everything was removed, i bought some stainless bolt kits for everything in the engine bay aswell

Just waiting for the turbo heat shield to arrive back from Rob then i can get the turbo pipes all fitted too

Only problems faced so far was the fitting on the APR cooling cover, for the money its a shocking fit, none of the bolt holes line up either, plenty of tweeking needed but got it on eventually

Decided to rip all this clutter out

(excuse the labels, just making sure i ran the new lines to the correct places

3 of the hard pipes are redundant now anyway so with some silicone vacuum hose and a couple of T-pieces the new lines are now tucked up out the way, out of sight, to allow the turbo pipes a bit more room to shine :D

Few little bits done

Replaced the cam cover connection hoses courtesy of Whifbitz

Old cam cover breather had seen better days

New ones

Fitted my Whifbitz silicone heater hoses (what a PITA)

Resulted in this

But they were soon on and looking good (once i cleaned the blood off them)

One sits too high but thats because the water pipe it connects to isnt bolted on yet and is currently not routed the correct way just yet

Painted a load of brackets satin black to tidy stuff up

I started to sand the engine hooks down for paint, and was quite suprised with the finish just from sanding them so i left them like it for now and will give them a blast over with metal polish later

I replaced the heater hoses on mine too... what a pain that was. I've done away with some of the metal pipes at the back and connected my heater hose down to the coolant pipe running underneath the turbos. I ended up doing the job from under the car it was that fiddly!

Starting to come together now and is nearing completion

I recieved my polished heatshield so cracked on with getting the turbo side back together

All thats left to do that side now is to finish making the air filter pipe up

Thanks guys will hopefully look pretty good when finished

Looks really nice. Very shiny! Are you planning to tuck it too?

Im not sure on that to be fair, i may try and and hide some of the loom running up the sides but as far as a full tuck goes i probably wont go that far i doubt
