MRX
The core plug on the back of my water pump has sprung a leak. Currently stuck at removing crankshaft pulley, home made tool wasn't strong enough so just wondered if anyone in Dorset area has a tool i can borrow for the job? Cheers
Chris Wilson
Use the underside of the driver's side chassis member to lock a DECENT strong arm and socket against and undo the bolt a few turns with the starter motor.

Chris Wilson
In stubborn cases, on TT's with their stock, start on first revolution twin cam sensors, the kick of the engine firing can break free really tight ones. It doesn't really matter if the engine idles long enough to spin the bolt right out. Doesn't work so well on N/A's as they don't fire quite so immediately.
