Guest Flalex
Long story short : Bought a TT supra, 30 minutes later hit a small pothole which caused the wheel to break in half which caused me to lose control and hit a cement wall. the quarter panel was dented, wheel got broken, rear bumper damaged, sideskirt damaged, rear quarter panel body kit damaged, and frnt bumper slight damage only mechanical damage was a broken front inner tie rod end. i was wondering if this is fixable or if it will require a new quarter panel? thanks! Ric
thats been pushed in quite a bit, you'd have the pull the panel out as much as you can first then see what it is like.
supra900bhp
A body shop will sort that out with no probs mate. All that needs is a bit of heat and a big sucker and most of it will just pop out. Don't let it be disheartening time to just get it how you want it and start enjoying the supra how you should be
Ian C
Also budget for a new set of wheels that aren't made of glass

Guest Flalex
I have sent a email asking the company if there was anything they could do to help pay for damages as this could have costed me my life, it was a very small pothole, and it was very cold outside, the wheel is perfectly straight but the center just popped out. whats the best way to access the Quarter panel? i tried by the trunk and by the wheelwell but no acess. this is 2 minutes after accident : and both side of the wheel. They are Advanti Racing A2 Traktion, If i get no response back from the company i will be spreading the word on the poor quality of theese wheels. pic before everything Edited January 25, 2015 by Flalex (see edit history)
Guest Flalex
Got a quote for 2000$ , other side has a chip as well so the quarter has to be blended again, front bumper is damaged as well. I am from canada. Do you think i can do anything against the wheel company
SteveC
Unless the wheels are fairly new and you can prove when they were bought, then I doubt you'll have much luck trying to get anything out of the wheel company - but there's certainly no harm in trying. Here in the UK, some people successfully claim against whoever maintains the roads if the damage was caused by a pothole. See here.
Guest Flalex
What do you call the piece that fits under the rear quarters , not the spats like i have but the ones that are small and just go under? Is it necessary to have ? And where can i find it
xm 80
i guess you are better off with the supraforums.com forum (it's more US/Canada based). 2000$ seems about right for fixing. i know it doesn't help but never buy cheap wheels! i mean you relate your live on them...sooo think about buying cheap knock offs.
